~90 sec Require photo proof and sign-off
Some items you never want marked “done” on trust alone. Ziptask can refuse to close an item until there’s a photo, then route it to you to sign off — so every job that matters ends with proof, and you never chase anyone for it.
The video shows a crew documenting a jobsite, but this works for anything you need to prove got done — a clean, a repair, an install.
Plan: Photo proof and approval are available on Starter and up.
Steps
-
Turn on the requirements. These live on the item itself. Set them as you add a new item, or turn them on later by tapping an existing item and choosing Edit. Flip on Require Photo / Document (the item can’t be checked off without an attachment) and Requires Approval (it comes to you to sign off instead of closing on its own).
-
The crew can’t skip it. Out in the field, if they try to mark the item done with no photo, Ziptask stops them. No photo, no “done” — so you never end up with a finished job and nothing to show for it.
-
They submit with the photo. Once they attach the photo and submit, the item doesn’t say “done” — it says it’s waiting on you.
-
You sign off. The item lands with you for review. Open it, look at the photo, and approve it if it’s right — or send it back if it’s not, before it’s buried under the next item.
Now every item that matters ends with a photo and your OK: proof to show the client, and a record that’s yours to keep — without chasing a single person for it.
