1. v1.2.32 •

The Help Center and starter templates now speak your language

    Improved

When we brought Ziptask to seven languages, we started with the app and the website. Now the rest of the product speaks your language too.

    • The Help Center — every customer-facing support article is now available in Português (Brasil), Français, Deutsch, Italiano, and Bahasa Indonesia, alongside English and Spanish. Open the Help Center in your language and you get the complete set, not just a handful of translated pages.
    • Starter templates — the ready-made industry checklists you can load on day one are now translated in all seven languages, so your team starts from checklists written in the language they actually work in.
    • Reports — the stat tiles and charts in Reporting are fully translated too.

As always, your language is a personal setting — everyone on the team can use Ziptask in the language they prefer, and there’s a Request a language option in your profile if you’d like to see another added.

  2. v1.2.30 •

Ziptask now speaks five more languages

    New

Ziptask now works in your language. Alongside English and Spanish, the app is available in five more languages:

    • Português (Brasil)
    • Français
    • Deutsch
    • Italiano
    • Bahasa Indonesia

Your language is picked automatically from your device the first time you sign in, and you can change it any time in your profile — it’s a personal setting, so everyone on the team can use Ziptask in the language they prefer.

Don’t see yours? There’s a Request a language option in your profile settings, so let us know which one to add next.

  3. v1.2.26 •

Dictate a whole list — dates, repeats and all

    Improved

Speech-to-list can capture far more than a bare checklist now. Dictate your list the way you’d say it out loud, set the details in the same breath, and Ziptask lays everything out for you to review and adjust before it saves.

    • Dates and repeats — say when items are due (or start), and set a repeating schedule, straight from the dictation.
    • Photo proof — mark the items that need a photo, without opening each one.
    • Projects and customers — attach the whole list to a project or customer in the review step.
    • Always reviewable — nothing saves until you’ve looked it over, so you stay in control of what the AI heard.

Available on the Business plan, wherever you create a list.

  4. v1.2.24 •

    End dates for recurring lists

    Improved

Recurring lists don’t have to run forever. When you set a list to repeat, you can now give it an end date — Ziptask keeps creating copies through that day, then stops on its own.

    • Set it when you schedule the list — choose “Ends: on a date” alongside the repeat frequency, or leave it “Never” to repeat indefinitely, just like before.
    • Made for seasonal or fixed-length work — a summer program, a six-week project, a temporary route.
    • The schedule stays visible — the list still shows how often it repeated and when it ended, and every copy it already created stays exactly where it is.

Available on the Starter plan and above, wherever your recurring lists live.

  5. v1.2.23 •

    Photos and files in chat

    NewPro

Team Messages can now carry files. Send photos and documents straight into a channel, so “here’s the delivery,” “this is the issue,” or “the signed form” lives right next to the work instead of in a separate app or a lost text thread.

    • Attach images and documents with the 📎 button — on your phone that includes the camera and photo library.
    • Text and files together — add a caption, or just send the photo.
    • Tap to view an image full-size, or download a document.

Available on the Pro plan, as part of Team Messages.

  6. v1.2.22 •

    Team Messages

    NewPro

Stop bouncing between a task app and a separate group chat. Every team now gets its own channel in Ziptask, so work talk lives right next to the work.

    • @mention a teammate or a task list — pull the right person or the right list into the conversation.
    • React with an emoji to acknowledge a message without adding noise, and see who reacted.
    • Edit or delete your own messages after you send them.
    • Finished lists post in automatically, so the whole crew sees what’s done.

You’re only notified when someone actually mentions you, so a busy channel never blows up your phone. Available on the Pro plan.

We also smoothed out page transitions across the app, so moving between screens feels cleaner.

  7. v1.2.21 •

    The calendar is now Planning

    Improved

The calendar grew up. Planning lays your task lists — and whole projects — out on a calendar so you can see what’s coming and what’s slipping.

    • Tap a day to start a new list right there.
    • Switch between a Lists view and a Projects view depending on how you think about the work.
    • Spot anything running behind at a glance.
  8. v1.2.19 •

    Product updates, in your notifications

    New

New features are easy to miss. Now we can let you know about them right where you already work — as an in-app notification and a push.

Not interested? Mute Product updates in your notification settings and everything else keeps flowing as normal.

  9. v1.2.17 •

Finer control over who can do what

    Improved

Not everyone who works a task should be able to restructure it. Owners and admins can now build roles that separate doing a task from editing it — so you can grant “pick up and complete” without also handing over “add, edit, and restructure.”

Existing roles keep behaving exactly as they did — this only adds new options.

  10. v1.2.16 •

Your lists remember how you left them

    Improved

Come back to exactly where you left off. Task Lists, Planning, and Projects now remember your Mine / All view and your filters between visits, so you’re not re-setting them every time.

And an empty “Mine” no longer leaves you staring at a blank screen — it points you to your team’s lists instead. Recurring lists also got much faster under the hood.

  11. v1.2.15 •

Start your free trial with a head start

    New

A blank account is a slow start. When you begin the card-free Business trial, Ziptask now offers ready-made checklist packs matched to your line of work — add them and you’re up and running with real lists instead of an empty page.

The app also now lets you know when a new version is available.

  12. v1.2.13 •

Expense categories that fit your business

    New

Project costs are easier to read when they’re sorted your way. You can now create your own expense categories — materials, equipment, subcontractors, or whatever fits your work — and file each expense under one, for a clearer picture of what a job really costs. Available with Projects on the Business plan.

  13. v1.2.12 •

    Notifications, your way

    New

Hear what matters and nothing else. You can now choose exactly what pings you — turn push or the in-app bell on or off independently, for each kind of notification.

  14. v1.2.9 •

    Speaks your language

    New

Ziptask now opens in your device’s language — English or Spanish to start — so your crew works in the language they think in. And custom roles let you tailor exactly what each person can see and do, beyond the built-in roles.

  15. v1.2.8 •

Set a time, not just a day

    Improved

A due day isn’t always enough. Task lists and projects now carry start and due times, not just dates — so “open by 7am” or “done by end of shift” means exactly that, and overdue is measured to the minute.

  16. v1.2.7 •

Your due dates, in your own calendar

    New

See your work where you already look. Subscribe your Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar to your task-list due dates — a one-way feed that stays current on its own, so deadlines show up alongside everything else on your schedule.

  17. v1.2.6 •

    Never let a list slip

    New

Give the crew a nudge before it matters. Task lists can now send reminders — a heads-up before or after a list starts or is due, or at a custom time you choose — delivered by push and in the app, to whoever needs it.

  18. v1.2.5 •

    Your schedule, on your clock

    Improved

Timing that matches how you actually work. Task lists now have a real start date, and your account runs on its own timezone — so “starts Monday” and “due at 5” line up with your working day, wherever your crew is.

  19. v1.2.4 •

    Reuse your checklists

    New

Stop rebuilding the same checklist. Save any task list as a reusable template, then spin up a fresh copy in seconds whenever that job comes around again — so a standard turnover or opening routine is one tap, not a retype.

  20. v1.2.1 •

    Try everything, no card

    New

See what Ziptask can really do before you decide. New accounts can start a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature — no credit card. When it ends, your account simply moves to the Free plan; nothing is charged and all your work is kept.

  21. v1.2.0 •

A fresh new look, end to end

    Improved

We rebuilt the look of Ziptask from the ground up. Every screen — on web and on your phone — got a cleaner, calmer, more modern design, with clearer type, steadier spacing, and a consistent feel from your task lists to your reports. Same Ziptask underneath; a lot easier on the eyes.
