Set up teams
If you run more than one crew, teams let you group members together — so you can point a whole list at a crew, and filter your work down to just their jobs. (Someone can be on more than one team, too.)
The video groups a couple of crews, but teams work the same whether you run two or ten.
Plan: Teams are on the Pro plan and up. Who can do this: owners and admins.
Steps
-
Create a team. From the Teams page, create a team and give it a name — usually the crew or the kind of work, like Install crew or Maintenance.
-
Add members. Add people to the team. The same person can belong to more than one team, so a lead who works across crews is easy to handle.
-
Put the team to work. When you create or edit a task list, assign it to a team — and filter your lists by team so each crew sees their own jobs at a glance.
What’s next
- Create your first task list — assign a list to a team.
- Invite your team — add the people first, if you haven’t.
